I have always enjoyed painting and drawing, and my favourite class in school was always art. I remember going to the Ashcroft Art Show every year with my mom, and going home inspired to paint or draw.
After graduation, I studied three years of art and design in Kamloops, receiving a Fine Arts Diploma, Drawing & Painting Certificate and Digital Art and Design Diploma from the University College of the Cariboo (now Thompson Rivers University). I also spent time studying art in France.
I love to travel, and usually take a sketchbook and watercolours with me to do some sketching on location. Most of my paintings are done from photos I’ve taken while travelling in Quebec, Atlantic Canada, France and the UK. I enjoy working in a variety of different mediums, but the majority of my work is done in acrylic and has distinctive style of intricate detail and vibrant colour.
My artwork can be found in private collections throughout Canada and in the UK.
